How do I fit my extra-tall cat gate?

No tools or drilling required! 

It's easy to install your cat gate, simply put up the compressions bars and then fit the pieces together. 

Once installed the side bar slides the netting open and closed easily. 

You can pick which side bar opens & closes the netting depending on your requirements.

Sizing & measurement details?

Being 72" tall means that even escape artists and jumping cats won't get past this cat gate!

They are perfect for doors and hallways that are 28 - 45 inches wide, or 44 - 78 inches wide.

Unfortunately we can't customize the size of our Cat Gates.

Can cats climb over the gate or chew through it?

The gate is totally cat proof!Cats also can't climb the gate because the netting is a different size & shape to screen doors. Cats can't chew or scratch their way through the gate netting which is strong and durable.

How do I use the Cat Gate?

The Cat Gate is installed in a doorway, hallway or other area that you would like to stop your cat getting through. 


We can't guarantee that other the gate is suitable for other animals such as dogs. 

It really depends on the animal you are using it for, but some animals may chew through the netting. 


The Cat Gate may not be suitable for small kittens especially if you have thick baseboards, as they may get through small gaps on the sides of the gate. As with all animal products, the safest way to use the Cat Gate is with supervision.

  • Strong enough to catch a cannonball cat

    Works great, stretchy enough to gently catch our young cat even when she jumps into it. We have kept her in her own room while she gets acquainted with the family, and this lets her get comfortable interacting with our other cat unsupervised while making sure they don't get physical.

  • Great for Introducing cats

    We got this gate to introduce our resident cat to our newly adopted cat and it was a great safe way for them to interact without risk of fighting. The only thing that was a challenge when using it in a doorway, is the rings at the top and bottom don’t allow it to open very much, so it cuts the door opening in half. I’m not sure what the solution for that would be since you need the rings to secure the gate so the cats can’t get through. We don’t expect this to be a permanent solution, so it’s not that big of a deal for us. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality and functionality of the gate.

  • Excellent cat gate

    First thing that actually works! Tried various baby gates before this, and our crafty kitty repeatedly broke through. She actually managed to pry this one open once (she's very determined), but I contacted support and they sent us an extra U channel for the side that opens. Hasn't arrived yet, but I'm confident that she won't be able to get through again. And even without the extra channel, she has not broken through since the first time.
